  Roma Right Forum "ARKA" realizing the project"Documentation for Roma" which provides legal and financial service for 400 beneficiaries from Kumanovo municipality. The project is funding by the Swedish Helsinki Committee.                                         In frame of the activities, on June 17-18, 2006 RRF "ARKA" performed a seminar at the hotel"Gradce" in Kocani at  the topic"NGOs Role in the process of the Euro-intergation in Macedonia".The project is funded by SEI (Secretariat for European Integration) and SEA (Secretariat for European Affairs) to the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.

  The Roma Rights Forum "ARKA" is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit organization, establish and registered in November 1998 with the Registry for Citizen Associations in Primary Court, Kumanovo, Macedonia. ARKA was founded by group of Roma people, who were enthusiastic advocates for human rights. The basic task of the organization is the promotion and protection of civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of Roma people and  other ethnic, minorities and the promotion and strengthening of multiethnic cooperation.

 

          VISION:

 

          A country in which citizens' human rights are a priority, supported by all individuals, the government and all other groups.

 

          MISSION:

 

          We form a bridge with people from the rest of the world which enables the protection and promotion of the rights of each individual. We do this in a spirit of pride, professional leadership and passion by:

 

·        Providing free legal help

·        Monitoring and following judicial proceedings and process

·        Collecting and giving information

·        Advising, lobbying and advocacy

·        Improving and developing multiethnic cooperation

·        Contributing to the development of a civil society
